Overview

The sport of soccer continues to grow in North America as the media landscape keeps evolving. This position will sit in the middle of both soccer and media.  As a member of the Media Partnerships group, the Coordinator, Media Partnerships will support the management of all our partners (Domestic broadcast, International and digital/social).  The primary role will be developing PowerPoint materials for the Media team.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Creating PowerPoint decks for Media team meetings with existing partners, potential new business, Clubs, League Executives and Owners
  • Supporting the Media Partnerships team with ordering premiums and kits, processing invoices, hospitality support at Big Events (ex. All-Star Game and MLS Cup), taking meeting notes, assisting with key meeting logistics
  • Identifying media trends
  • Monitoring partner platforms

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3+ years of experience

 Required Skills

  • Expertise in PowerPoint
  • Passion for growing the sport of soccer in North America
  • Strong knowledge in and interest of dynamic media landscape
  • Openness to working nights and weekends and travel (approximately 10%)
  • Skillset includes multi-tasking, paying attention to detail, working under tight timelines and ability to close out tasks in a timely manner
  • Commitment to organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verballyProficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
