  • Overview

    The HCM Application Specialist will provide expert knowledge in maintaining, and supporting our new HCM Enterprise Solution, Workday. They will act as an IT liaison for HR, Finance and the Player Department managing the support and development of the technical business requirements as it relates to HCM (Human Capital Management).

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the day to day support of our Workday implementation
    • Support HCM integrations with 3rd parties including benefits, expensing and payroll along with other platforms as required
    • Manage the development of Workday custom reports for various stakeholder groups throughout the organization
    • Administrate and support Workday security and role management
    • Manage Change Management and configuration changes in Workday based on business requirements
    • Administrate and configure Workday Business Processes and develop additional functionality based on changing business requirements
    • Manage testing of new functionality, platform upgrades and platform documentation
    • Provide training to users of all different levels
    • Develop technical supporting documentation including design documents, run guides and system test plans
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field
    • 3 years experience with Workday technologies including Calculated Fields, custom reports, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), Document Transformation (XML/XSLT/XPath), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, Web Services, APIs.
    • Workday Developer Certification
    • Workday BP (business processes) configurations required
    • Workday report designer / EIB file prep required, Workday studio integration a plus
    • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
    • Hands on experience with Office 365, SharePoint Online and Onedrive for Business
    • Experience working with emerging technologies and collaborative business tools
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
    • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity

    Desired Skills

    • Understanding of Payroll functions and process
    • Familiarity with US & Canadian Worker requirements
    • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
