MLS is seeking a results-driven individual to lead the commercial management of our league in Canada. Our ideal candidate shares our vision, is a self-motivated team member and possesses the ability to establish positive trends, build relationships and deliver results.


    This role will support Major League Soccer business operations in Canada, which continues to grow its influence in the domestic and international sports community. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting MLS Canada’s corporate partner accounts, supporting day-to-day business operations and leads all CRM efforts.


    • Fulfill contractual assets of partner agreements, support game-day programming and monitors sponsor promotions
    • Maintain weekly status reports and communicates recaps following internal and external partner meetings
    • Research relevant topics related to partners, partner competitors and general soccer and sports marketing industry
    • Oversee fulfillment of special requests by partners
    • Oversee team general project requests and take ownership of execution
    • CRM lead for MLS Canada
    • Generate leads by conducting research on prospect partners
    • Support the development of sales and internal presentations
    • Manage financial reporting and tracking specifically focused on OPEX
    • Process all invoicing and payments to partners, agencies and internal budget shifts
    • Lead hospitality logistics for current and prospective partners
    • Support MLS Canada team on travel and meeting logistics
    • Lead initial light outreach to corporate Canada


    Additional Responsibilities

    • Provide business support to GM, Canada
    • Build and sustain relationships cross departmentally
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 1+ years of experience in entry-level Marketing roles

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of the French Language (business proficiency)
    • Outstanding PPT skills and command of visual design and storytelling principles
    • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
