The Director is a member of the Information Technology team who will be responsible for setting up and managing the Technology Project Management Office. This is a new role within the organization as we work to create efficiencies, maintain project standards and improve project visibility across the enterprise. The Director will work to establish methodologies and processes that work best for our organization. Along with being the visionary for the Technology PMO, this position will manage highly visible projects in a fast-paced environment that cross multiple business divisions.


  • Define a PMO strategy and apply the appropriate methodologies to projects spanning across the business
  • Develop standards and deploy tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects
  • Creates and maintains project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, resources, budget tracking and project status
  • Plans and manages change impact plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Measure project performance to allow for more effective business decisions (i.e. tracking project costs, scope, need for additional resources, project overlap, timeline adjustments)
  • Manage project communication to the organization and project stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform risk management to identify and communicate project risks
  • Provides a central repository for all technology projects and project information
  • Develop 3 year roadmap to scale the Project Management Office
  • Able to manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects: setting up and running team meetings such as stand up, project kick-offs meetings, backlog grooming, sprint retrospective, etc.
  • Implement templates and repeatable processes
  • Creates project charter at the beginning of each major project
  • Works closely with product, design and engineering amongst other groups to determine project estimates and timeline


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology project management
  • Certified Scrum Master qualification from reputed organization - PMI ACP preferred / CSM / PMP
  • Expertise of Project Management techniques and tools
  • Previous experience delivering several challenging projects or programs
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • 3 or more years working experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Working experience with 2 or more project management methodologies in addition to Scrum
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • 3 or more years proficiency with multiple kinds of Project Management software such as Asana, JIRA, Gantt charts, etc.
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong comprehension of budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of an organization.
  • Diplomacy and influence skills, conflict management skills
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Experience working on digital products across web, mobile and connected TV platforms
  •  Knowledge of the sport of soccer
  • Proficient in Spanish and/or French – verbal and written
