Position Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, effective and efficient management of all contracts for Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing and their related properties. 

• Oversee the development and implementation of a cross-departmental contract management system
• Assist with drafting, review and management of a variety of commercial agreements (e.g. sponsorship agreements, services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, agency agreements, purchase agreements, etc.) through to execution
• Manage all contract-related policies and controls (e.g. signing policy) and develop training materials to accompany such policies
• Manage and update all contract templates as necessary
• Perform special projects and other assignments as requested.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of two-years’ experience at a leading law firm and/or corporate legal department with relevant experience
• Experience as a contracts manager for a corporate legal department preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience with commercial transactions
• Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail necessary to support and advise business units and ensure projects are completed in a timely and effective manner

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment with a business-focused approach

Total Rewards

Starting Base Salary $58,500 - $75,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
