The Senior Coordinator is responsible for the department’s logistic and administrative needs for both domestic and international events.  This will include managing logistics, scheduling, and reporting duties for the Soccer Security Agent program.


  • Responsible for overseeing all administration, scheduling, and logistics responsibilities for the Soccer Security Agent (SSA) and Regional SSA programs for the domestic league and international properties:
    • Scheduling and coverage
    • Yearly Submittals (contracts and tax forms)
    • Invoice processing
    • Regular calls, meetings, and information sharing
    • Onboarding of new SSA’s and RSSA’s into the program
  • Manages all shipping and logistics in support of MLS and Soccer United Marketing events.
  • Responsible for budget tracking and providing regular reporting to Section Management.
  • Responsible for pre-planning and delivery of the MLS Security logistics and deployment center at MLS Cup and MLS All Star
  • Assists Domestic and International MLS Security Managers with reviewing and ensuring compliance with annual submittals from all MLS clubs
  • Coordinates yearlong planning and manages all aspects including delivery of the multi-day MLS Security Meetings held yearly at an MLS Club location
  • Manages and facilitates security meetings, including scheduling, organizing meeting logistics, preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, following up on action items, and ensuring attendance by relevant parties. Provides reports and presentations on meeting outcomes to stakeholders as needed.
  • Liaise as directed with internal and external partners, vendors, and contractors.
  • Assist in producing management reports and presentations for specific audiences.
  • Provides administrative support to Directors and other executives, including managing calendars, arranging travel logistics, preparing materials in advance of meetings, and other duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

  • Potential for travel to higher level MLS Security events

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Business, Analytics, or a relevant related field
  • 3+ years of experience with administrative and logistics processes

  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work remotely.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency) is helpful.

Total Rewards

Starting Base Salary $58,500 – $65,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
