Overview

The Senior Coordinator, Player Relations supports the player compliance and player finance functions within the Player Relations Department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing FIFA compliance obligations, training reward claims, disputes, and sanctions.
  • Support and guide clubs in assessing solidarity and training compensation claims.
  • Lead the financial audit of all incoming and outgoing training rewards.
  • Develop and provide training and resources on FIFA RSTP, FIFA Clearing House, and USSF rules and regulations.
  • Liaise with FIFA and USSF and support clubs on best practices with regards to player registration and passports.
  • Manage player receivables and payables in collaboration with Player Finance: process, submit, and record notices.
  • Serve as liaison between Player Finance, league and clubs on FIFA clearing house.
  • Support Player Relations department as required and as available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

 

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of FIFA training (training compensation & solidarity)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point, general data entry, etc)
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with work schedule

 

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of FIFA rules and practice
  • Knowledge of FIFA RSTP (Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players)

 

Total rewards

Starting Base Salary: $58,500 - $65,000 MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
