Major League Soccer (MLS) seeks innovative, talented and passionate students to contribute to the growth of Soccer in North America.

The Properties and Events department manages partnerships with Soccer United Marketing (“SUM”) Properties (U.S. Soccer, Federacion Mexicana de Futbol, CONCACAF, Liga MX and others) and oversees the development, planning and execution of Major League Soccer (“MLS”) and SUM events and platforms in North America each year, including marquee events like MLS All-Star, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Leagues Cup, MLS Cup and the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour programming. The group also spearheads organization-wide initiatives, including hospitality, B2B programming, press/media events, department/executive meetings, competition events and the development of new platforms and partnerships for the enterprise.

Located at the League Office Headquarters in New York City, the Summer Intern Program is a 10-week program that runs from June 3rd-August 5th.  Interns will be a part of an inclusive culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration, values diversity and promotes creativity.

• Supporting all areas of Executive Office Planning for 2025 MLS All-Star
• General Executive Office Support (Facebook, contact lists etc.)
• Events Department Initiatives (hotel planning, meeting support etc.)
• Gifting, venue and decor research.
• Onsite support at MLS All-Star.

• Undergraduate rising senior
• Recent college graduate
• Currently enrolled in a post-graduate program

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Must commit to attend full 10-week program
• Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus

TOTAL REWARDS

Major League Soccer offers an hourly salary of $20 per hour based on a 40-hour work week.
