Major League Soccer (MLS) seeks innovative, talented and passionate students to contribute to the growth of Soccer in North America.

Major League Soccer's Strategy and Business Intelligence group is tasked with supporting strategic decision making and resource allocation across the League – with a focus on driving fan growth, revenue capture, and operating efficiencies – by providing impactful data informed insights, analysis, and recommendations.

Located at the League Office Headquarters in New York City, the Summer Intern Program is a 10-week program that runs from June 3rd-August 5th.  Interns will be a part of an inclusive culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration, values diversity and promotes creativity.

• Assist with data analysis projects related to Fan Engagement, including ticketing, social media, marketing, and consumer products.
• Build dashboards and support regular reporting on key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with enterprise and department goals.
• Analyze data to answer key business questions and present insights in a clear and actionable format.
• Support team members on ad hoc projects requiring detailed analytics and reporting.

• Undergraduate rising senior
• Recent college graduate
• Currently enrolled in a post-graduate program

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Must commit to attend full 10-week program
• Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus

TOTAL REWARDS

Major League Soccer offers an hourly salary of $20 based on a 40-hour work week.
