Overview

The candidate will be responsible for reconciling player transaction data related to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism across multiple years to ensure correct presentation. Reconciliation will require financial statements to be reviewed alongside supporting documents, including transfer and loan agreements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review player transactions related to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, including the FIFA Clearing House.
  • Compare solidarity mechanism transactions between clubs’ rosters, agreements, invoices, and other supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement for solidarity mechanism transactions.
  • Identify adjustments to properly present transactions related to solidarity mechanism

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting and/or Finance preferred.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong financial and accounting skills.
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze from a macro level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Adherence to confidentiality.
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
