Overview

The Manager, CRM & Digital Campaigns is a key supporting role on the Digital Marketing team, helping bring to life CRM campaigns across email, push, and digital channels. This role requires experience in email, CRM, and lifecycle marketing, with hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, OneSignal, or similar ESP and CRM platforms. It also demands strong collaboration with other marketing functions—including Paid Media, Brand, and Content.

 

We’re looking for someone who thrives in the details, solves problems proactively, and brings a positive, team-first attitude to every project. Bonus points if you have experience working in sports or soccer—or just love the game.

Responsibilities

CRM Campaign Management

  • Write or adapt campaign copy for email, push, and in-app channels to align with creative direction and CRM strategy 
  • Test, QA, and launch campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and OneSignal 
  • Manage timelines, creative approvals, and stakeholder feedback with cross-functional teams (including those working across ET and PST) 
  • Maintain the CRM campaign calendar to ensure full team visibility into upcoming launches 

Platform & Data Operations

  • Write or adapt campaign copy for email, push, and in-app channels to align with creative direction and CRM strategy
  • Test, QA, and launch campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and OneSignal
  • Manage timelines, creative approvals, and stakeholder feedback with cross-functional teams (including those working across ET and PST)
  • Maintain the CRM campaign calendar to ensure full team visibility into upcoming launches

Digital Marketing Support & Project Management

  • QA site experiences tied to marketing launches, including content accuracy, links, and device responsiveness 
  • Support asset and copy delivery for international web projects and campaigns 
  • Assist with tactical paid media execution tasks: compiling creative specs, linking assets, tracking UTMs, and documenting targeting 
  • Join planning meetings, capture notes, follow up on deadlines, and route creative for feedback 
  • Support campaign retrospectives by gathering performance insights from stakeholders
  • Pitch in on ad-hoc web and paid media tasks as needed to support integrated marketing efforts 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience required

Required Skills

  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required Tools & Technical Skills 

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio) or similar CRM or ESP platforms 
  • OneSignal or similar mobile marketing platforms 
  • Google Analytics or equivalent 
  • Excel/Google Sheets  
  • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Airtable) 

Desired Skills

  • Passion for soccer or experience in the sports/entertainment industry 
  • Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS and SQL  
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (within SFMC or third-party tools)

Major League Soccer offers a competitive starting base salary of $75,000 - $85,000, based on individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
