Overview

Supports Office Services operations by managing mail distribution, handling packages, and assisting with administrative and facility-related tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages in a timely and accurate manner
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries across departments
  • Prepare outgoing shipments using FedEx and UPS systems, including label creation and tracking
  • Coordinate carrier pickups and ensure proper documentation for all shipments
  • Operate and maintain Pitney Bowes mailing equipment for postage processing
  • Weigh, meter, and log outgoing mail using postage systems
  • Maintain shipment records and tracking logs for accountability
  • Inspect incoming packages for damage and verify contents against packing slips
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery issues
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and secure mail room environment
  • Assist with day-to-day operation in maintaining high level of customer service and upkeep of office services
  • Complete all employee orders for office supplies and order products and supplies to maintain copy rooms, mailroom, and pantries
  • Help to manage inventory of supply closet and office supplies
  • Perform daily inspections to restock panties, copy rooms, beverage machines, etc.
  • Support the Senior Manager with special projects to achieve efficiency by improving facilities operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ year of experience
  • Familiarity with operating office equipment such as copiers, postage machine, etc.
  • Facilities Management background a plus

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work on weekends and late nights as needed for project
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds

Starting compensation $25.00/hour; 40 hours/week. MLS/SUM compensation is contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
