MLS Media Operations is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Manager, Media Assets & Technology to join the team. The Media Operations department oversees the media assets, platforms, workflows, and the application of technology across our department initiatives while continually increasing the quality, efficiency, and efficacy of our production processes. The Manager, Media Assets & Technology will focus on the media assets, documentation, and processes utilized by and for our internal and external clients. There is also an importance placed on understanding and managing the underlying technologies.
MLS is looking for a passionate, organized, and detail-oriented information security engineer to join the Information Security Office. The security engineer will drive the security awareness program, correlate threat intelligence to actionable security events, and participate in incident response efforts. This Information security role is responsible for protecting MLS staff, digital assets, and the brand by collaborating with teams across the enterprise and maintaining the technology assets that safeguard the organization.
The Individual in this role will proactively identify and manage risk by educating staff on current cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and procedures while performing a basic level of cyber analysis on security alerts and integrating indicators of compromise (IOCs) into sensors and SIEM. Problem-solving and the ability to adapt current processes to meet project goals and requirements are essential elements of this position.
The Director, Partnership Marketing will be responsible for managing and leading key Enterprise marketing partner relationships to enhance promotion and visibility, meet partner objectives, and increase revenue for the League. The Director will drive the ideation process (cross departmental) and oversee the creation, implementation, strategic management and profitability of partner promotional programs and initiatives with a strong focus on the upcoming international tournament Leagues Cup. This role will focus on improving League’s Cup marketing partnership infrastructure, identifying efficiencies and best practices, with a focus on driving business opportunities for new and existing partnerships.
The Events Manager will support the Property & Events team with the planning, project management and execution of all MLS events, including MLS All-Star and MLS Cup, with a heavy concentration on managing the MLS NEXT national tournaments and events.
The role will support the team by planning and managing the execution of MLS NEXT Cup, MLS NEXT Fest, MLS NEXT Flex, MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate and Generation adidas Cup. In addition, supporting the Competition, Player Relations and Player Engagement group with talent ID and recruitment events, active and former player appearances, educational events / seminars and related events as assigned.
The Properties & Events department manages partnerships and events for Soccer United Marketing (SUM) properties (U.S. Soccer, Federación Mexicana de Futbol, CONCACAF, Liga MX and others), and oversees the strategic development, planning and execution of dozens of MLS and SUM events in North America each year, including marquee events like MLS All-Star Week, Concacaf Gold Cup, the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour, MLS Cup, MLS Next Tournaments, Campeones Cup, and Leagues Cup. The department also spearheads organization-wide initiatives including hospitality/B2B programming, press and media events, department and Executive and Board meetings, competition events and the development of new platforms and partnerships for the Enterprise.
The Manager, Brand Alliances is expected to be a key member of the enterprise’s new business efforts across Soccer United Marketing (SUM) properties including, but not limited to Major League Soccer (MLS), Leagues Cup, U.S. Soccer Federation, Mexican National Team, and CONCACAF.
The Manager, MLS NEXT Operations is responsible for performing duties related to MLS NEXT event Operations throughout the calendar year. MLS NEXT is a growing brand within Major League Soccer’s youth development space, and this individual will be responsible in overseeing tournament operations and facility management throughout several MLS NEXT events throughout the country.
In September 2021, Liga MX and Major Leagues Soccer (“MLS”) announced the expansion of Leagues Cup in 2023 to an annual 4-week tournament featuring all Liga MX and MLS clubs. Leagues Cup is an official Concacaf competition, and the top three finishers receive spots in the Concacaf Champions League with the winner advancing directly to the round of 16. Leagues Cup is the first and only officially sanctioned multi-country club competition in the world which represents an extraordinary opportunity for Liga MX and MLS to build one of the most unique and exciting club tournaments in the world within the Concacaf ecosystem, while accelerating the growth of soccer in the United States.
Liga MX and MLS are looking for an Executive Director to lead the governance, management, delivery, and growth of the expanded Leagues Cup tournament. The candidate will work collaboratively with Liga MX, MLS, and SUM leadership and staff, as well as dedicated Leagues Cup staff, to achieve the vision for the tournament and annual targets.
MLS is looking for a passionate, organized Project Manager to join the MLS Media Department as it prepares to build and launch a new production and content infrastructure to service its recently announced distribution partnership with Apple. The Project Manager will drive project teams, deliverables, and schedules. The Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment, interacting with the team throughout all project phases, creating/monitoring detailed project plans, and associated project deliverables.

The MLS Media team is looking for motivated and high performing individuals to join the team. MLS Media oversees all the League’s content including match broadcasts, highlights, video and written content as well as the League’s digital channels MLSsoccer.com, the MLS App, podcasts and newsletters.
MLS has the youngest and most diverse fan base in American pro sports and is looking for an individual to help create content for MLSsoccer.com and the MLS App. Our digitally native fans are ravenous consumers of digital media about their favorite Club and players. This exciting new role will help market the League to new and existing fans while showcasing the burgeoning talent and atmosphere in MLS.
The Content Producer will help oversee the daily content production of MLSsoccer.com and will be responsible for helping to create and produce video hits, stories, review content, manage the layout of the League site and app and develop story and video ideas to ensure complete coverage of MLS matches throughout the season.
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing benefits, wellness, and compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The Senior Manager, Total Rewards will also contribute to the developing Total Reward strategies that will support the organization.

The commercial arm of MLS, Soccer United Marketing (SUM) is the exclusive sales and marketing partner (i.e. rights holder) of the League as well as several other preeminent North American soccer properties – Concacaf Club and National Team competitions, U.S. Soccer Federation, Mexican National Team, Leagues Cup and Campeones Cup (i.e., joint ventures with Liga MX). SUM is at the forefront of the sport’s commercial development, and it’s the engine driving the League and its partner properties towards a successful run-up and legacy following the 2026 World Cup.
As a member of MLS/SUM team, the Director, Brand Alliances will be responsible for strategizing, building, and executing an end-to-end partnership sales and retention strategy from short-term to long-term. Based in New York, this position will work hand in hand with the Vice President, Brand Alliances to build sponsorship strategy and cultivate c-level relationships to bring value and profitability to grow the sport’s relevance, engage fans and maximize enterprise revenue. This role will specifically help lead new enterprise sales efforts for the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) as well as Concacaf, home to the Men and Women’s Gold Cup, Champions League, Nations League Finals, and other premier regional Club and National Team competitions.
The Coordinator, Player Relations is responsible for player administration as it relates primarily to player contracts and all related payments.
The Partner Media Management team manages the commercialization strategy and execution of media sponsorship and advertising efforts for MLS & SUM properties. As a department, PMM plays an important role in helping the larger MLS/SUM organization to articulate the value proposition of assets across owned, operated, and distributed media channels to both internal and external stakeholders, ultimately driving value for the enterprise, official marketing partners, and media partners.
The Director, Partner Media Management will work across functions and divisions to ensure the seamless development and execution of media sponsorship and advertising programs. From standard turn-key digital/social media executions across owned and operated channels, to content development and branded entertainment positions crafted for our most noteworthy official marketing partners, the Director will be responsible for a wide range of activation. Campaign assets will run across a variety of touch points, including Apple’s digital ecosystem, owned & operated mobile, app, and social media channels, plus emerging platforms. Although this function will focus mainly on MLS digital media sponsorships, it is incumbent upon this resource to partner with the sales marketing teams at Apple, our traditional broadcast partner networks, and content partners to support sponsored MLS brand positions where appropriate.
In this newly created role, the Senior Director, Player Well-Being & Clinical Services, is responsible for developing, leading, and managing systems and processes that support and promote the mental health and wellness for all players in MLS, MLS NEXT Pro, and MLS NEXT Academies.
You will have direct oversight of the mental health, clinical strategies and initiatives for the MLS ecosystem player population and create value by your expansive subject matter expertise and deep industry experience to design, lead and deliver integrated mental health solutions and outcomes.
The Senior Director of Player Well-Being and Clinical Services shall serve as the principal liaison between Major League Soccer [“MLS”], Major League Soccer Players Association [“MLSPA”] and MLS Clubs on all mental health and wellness issues. In addition, you will assist the Senior Vice President of Player and League Advancement in the management and performance of a variety of executive, professional and administrative duties, including special projects and programs to support the day-to-day operations of the department.
In this position you will need to exercise discretion and independent judgment in resolving issues with players, Clubs, and administrative staff.
Major League Soccer is looking for a passionate, experienced, and motivated person to join our growing Technology team. This position will be instrumental to the success of the technology initiatives of Major League Soccer. Reporting to the VP, Technology Operations, they will serve in a key management role that supports the League’s technology roadmap. As part of the Technology team, this position will provide technology management and expertise in collaboration with the League's Player Department. The selected candidate will report to the VP, Enterprise Applications & Services and will act as the single point of contact for all technical needs supporting our player solutions. This person will analyze processes & requirements related to our player operations and support the development of a comprehensive technology roadmap.

The Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing for Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of all activities within assigned Partner Accounts. As the key account person, the Senior Manager is responsible for delivering the highest level of client service while at the same time acting as an MLS/SUM consultant to ensure that effective programs are created and executed across the enterprise. The assigned accounts could also have exposure to other properties such as Leagues Cup, Mexican National Team and Concacaf. The Senior Manager will research and analyze market data to determine and develop potential sponsorship opportunities as well as increase activation with current partners.
