We aspire to be one of the top leagues in the world, as defined by our quality of play, the passion of our fans, the relevance of our clubs and the value of our enterprise.  In 2023, the league will be comprised of 29 clubs, with ongoing plans to expand to 30 clubs.   The growth of our business and fan base happens at both national and local levels. To drive collaboration, best practices, innovation, solutions and league-wide growth, Major League Soccer is building a Club Services Department. Based in New York, the group will serve as an in-house advisory and resource, working in close partnership with club leadership in areas of business operations, including ticketing, sponsorship, media, content, marketing, business intelligence and fan development.

The Manager of Club Services will be part of a team that drives forward thinking collaboration between the League Office and Clubs, focusing on improved business operations to deliver collective fan and business growth.   In this role, you will work closely with Club staff to help drive best-in-class ticketing strategy and operations by identifying opportunities, gathering and disseminating best practices, and providing data-driven insights and analysis.

Based in New York, the department will serve as an in-house advisory group and resource that will work in close partnership with club leadership in areas of business operations, including ticketing, sponsorship, media, content, marketing, business intelligence and fan development.   Major League Soccer is looking for a Senior Vice President, Club Services to lead the development and management of the new department. This role will work closely with club Chief Business Officers to assess overall opportunities and needs.  The SVP will also liaise with internal departments at the League Office, building a matrixed organization, to deliver best-in-class support and guidance to clubs.   This person will strengthen collaboration, planning and connectivity between the League Office and clubs, build processes and resource to guide and support best-in-class operations, and work to identify centralized innovations and solutions. They will also work with internal MLS departments to track and communicate club performance against benchmarks and applicable requirements.   The Senior Vice President will contribute to the future of Major League Soccer and its member clubs, staying ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and fan engagement opportunities.  This person will work to represent the views of club leaders and be responsive, thoughtful, and highly attuned to providing value.
