Senior Manager, Roster & Budget Compliance will manage compliance related to player transactions and work closely with Legal and Player Relations on financial matters to maintain competitive balance across the League.
In this position, the Generalist, Human Resources will partner with the HR team to deliver solutions that will champion organizational and people effectiveness by providing support across the full employee life-cycle.

The candidate will work closely with the Sr. Director of Licensing, Consumer Products helping to lead strategic planning, business development and execution of the League’s licensees of consumer products strategy. Candidate will be responsible for the Day-2-Day management of the Fanatics licensees, Fanatics Brands, product approval and execution, and managing license deals that meet the strategic, commercial and fan engagement objectives specifically in the youth segment. The Youth Manager will be responsible for establishing best practices, onboarding licensees, supporting Clubs and Licensees developing product lines that increase sales, and building new partnerships to ensure MLS is set for growth as we evolve heading to the 2026 World Cup.
The individual selected for this opportunity will have a deep understanding of all types of editorial media, including a strong grasp of the digital and social media landscape. Experience and significant relationships with editorial decision makers in the areas of business and sports media are meaningful to this role. This person who fills this role will possess an ambitious spirit, high competence in executive communications and the ability to make decisions and executive plans in settings comparable to the fast-paced world of professional sports. The position is based in New York, NY and requires the individuals to be in the league’s Manhattan office a minimum of three days each week.

The Sr. Manager of Digital Club Services is a functional leader who serves as a connector from the League’s digital strategy to the Clubs of Major League Soccer. This role will be a strategic consultant, a resource, and empathetic leader charged with servicing the clubs of MLS and partnering to build world class digital content and experiences that grow and retain MLS fans.

This includes viewership, subscriber health (forecasts, conversion, retention, etc.), and subscriber LTV. The Senior Manager, Apple Brand Portal / Digital Asset Manager, will be part of the MLS Creative Services team — within the Brand & Integrated Marketing Department — which services all internal constituents of the League and Soccer United Marketing (the commercial and operational branch of MLS representing other soccer-related properties), as well as our clubs, commercial partners and media partners. This role will help ensure that our broadcast partner, Apple, has access to the most recent and useful digital assets, including photos, logos, event marks and creative toolkits. You will be responsible for creating and managing a new central destination for all of Apple’s creative needs and will be a key point of contact with Apple design teams in LA and Cupertino and, in the future, worldwide.
In addition, you will manage and maintain creative and marketing assets for our broader Digital Asset Management System (DAM) and our project management and proofing system (Workfront).
The Events Director will support the Property & Events team with the planning, project management and execution of SUM and MLS events, including MLS All-Star Skills Challenge, MLS Cup, Heineken Rivalry Week and Mexican National Team fan events.
The role will also support the team by overseeing production agencies, contractor management and facilitate cross-departmental meetings.
The Properties and Events department manages partnerships with Soccer United Marketing (“SUM”) Properties (U.S. Soccer, Federacion Mexicana de Futbol, CONCACAF, Liga MX and others) and oversees the development, planning and execution of Major League Soccer (“MLS”) and SUM events and platforms in North America each year, including marquee events like MLS All-Star, CONCACAF Gold Cup, MLS Cup, the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour and U.S. Soccer Federation programming. The group also spearheads organization-wide initiatives, including hospitality/B2B programming, press/media events, department/executive meetings, competition events and the development of new platforms / partnerships for the enterprise.
The Director, Communications manages and drives public relations activities for Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing. The Director leads all aspects of communications on MLS Competition, MLS Player Engagement, and MLS Safety and Operations matters. The individual in this role also creates and drives strategic communications plans, supports functional areas of MLS and SUM, and works closely with MLS clubs on communications strategy.
