The Manager, Social Media - YouTube is responsible for managing Major League Soccer’s YouTube channel(s). This position will be responsible for handling video uploads, producing content, and optimizing video for MLS’ YouTube channel. They will help produce content with MLS Social, Video, and Editorial teams and will decide how to distribute across YouTube to help achieve our objectives. As a key player in helping grow the MLS fan base (from the MLS club level to the league level) and supporting all elements of the MLS ecosystem, including our partnership with Apple TV, the Manager will help manage the process in which we create and publish content during the week and on matchdays across YouTube.
Major League Soccer is the top-flight men’s professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. We aspire to be one of the top leagues in the world, as defined by our quality of play, the passion of our fans, the relevance of our clubs and the value of our enterprise. In 2023, the league will be comprised of 29 clubs, with ongoing plans to expand to 30 clubs, will play the new and annual Leagues Cup tournament, and launched its worldwide streaming and marketing partnership with Apple.
Major League Soccer’s historic Apple partnership allows fans to stream every MLS match through the Apple TV app worldwide. MLS Season Pass service features MLS NEXT, MLS NEXT Pro, and Leagues Cup matches, along with thousands of video clips and features.
As a Manager, Content Operations, you will be responsible for helping to manage video on demand (VOD) elements of MLS Season Pass and other content partners, working within the Technical & Broadcast Operations group at MLS and with MLS clubs to manage all aspects of video delivery to MLS Season Pass and other content partners.
The Sr. Coordinator, Social Media is responsible for helping position Major League Soccer as the most engaging and innovative sports brand in social media. This position will produce content with MLS photo, video, and editorial teams, and decide how to distribute on @MLS social media channels to help achieve our objectives.. As a key player in helping grow the MLS fan base — from the MLS club level to the league level — and supporting all elements of the MLS ecosystem, including our partnership with Apple TV, the Sr. Coordinator will help manage the process in which we create and publish content during the week and on matchdays.
MLS is seeking a Director who will lead business operations and strategic project management for the MLS Media Team, focusing on live match and content production and acting as the day-to-day contact for Apple for production matters.
