The Senior Vice President, Business Affairs will report to the General Counsel and hold significant responsibility in managing the legal and business affairs portfolio for Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing. This position will advise senior leaders at the League and club level on a variety of transactional, policy, and corporate matters.
The Sr. Manager FP&A is a key member of the team managing financial planning and analysis for Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM). The individual should act as the Finance department liaison for various departments within MLS/SUM for projection, planning, budgeting and other purposes. The role should balance being a good business partner for the departments while ensuring sound fiscal process and discipline throughout the organization.
The Senior Graphic Designer will sit within MLS Creative Services. The Creative department is an in-house team – part of the Brand & Integrated Marketing Department – that services all internal constituents of the League, including Clubs and Soccer United Marketing (representing non-MLS properties)
The Senior Graphic Designer is in charge of managing brand projects from ideation to completion, with a focus on concepts, iconography and execution. Candidate should have strong conceptual skills and understanding of layout, typography and color theory. Some projects are print-based and require knowledge of print design and production.
The position requires frequent interaction with other functional departments and stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Events, Partnerships, Research, etc.). Candidate should have strong communication and management skills.
MLS is looking for a talented, thoughtful and impact-oriented Design Director to lead user experience and user interface design across our portfolio of digital products, while bringing a depth of experience and collaborative energy to the ongoing evolution of our overall digital experience.
As Design Director, you’ll be involved in all aspects of user experience design, working with a small team to research, ideate, direct and design modern digital product experiences that have a real impact on our fans and our business. Your projects will span from small—new features or optimizations of existing experiences—to very large—a full ground-up redesign of our network of league and club websites—and you’ll be involved throughout the process from planning to launch. In addition, you’ll function as the design lead in our Digital Experience team, working closely with digital product and engineering leaders to make sure all our work is rooted in strategy and resulting in great real-life experiences for our fans. You’ll also serve as an in-house ambassador, sharing our User Experience design work with other teams and supporting them in their work as we look to create a consistent, top-class digital experience across the league.

The Integrated Media Solutions (IMS) team oversees the advertising and sponsorship efforts for SUM’s portfolio of digital assets. This position will be responsible for managing the reporting and performance management processes for sponsored campaigns across SUM’s owned, operated and distributed channels. They will liaise with stakeholders across the Media, IMS Account Management, IMS Ad Operations and Social Teams to ameliorate current reporting processes and optimize the delivery and performance of content to engage fans and drive business results.
This position will be part of our newly formed Club and Fan Development department which supports our Clubs as they grow their fan base. This position will play an important role in driving fan growth league-wide through the use of fan insights and analytics to create data-driven plans across business areas.
This person will drive the integration of advanced analytics projects throughout the enterprise and will lead a team that will transform data through the application of advanced data modeling techniques. Through excellent technical expertise, this person will execute quantitative studies and analysis in order to extract key insights and trends that suggest new business opportunities to drive fan growth. This individual will work across diverse areas that include ticketing, media, fan development, marketing and more.
The ideal candidate is able to execute analytics projects and explain and educate the findings to a wide group of stakeholders.
The Integrated Media Solutions (IMS) team manages the commercial media efforts for our MLS & SUM properties. As a member of the Integrated Media Solutions department, the Coordinator of IMS will be the subject-matter expert on MLS & SUM Digital advertising systems and processes, who will help operationalize and streamline all internal aspects of our digital media campaigns. The responsibilities of this role will be split between the two organizations (MLS & SUM) in a 50/50 capacity.
The Coordinator of IMS will serve as the internal first line of contact to ensure proper execution and management of standard and custom digital media advertising and sponsorship programs. He/she will work with the Planning, Business (Ad) Operations, Editorial, Production, Social, and Partnership Marketing teams to ensure that the campaign is delivering, and meeting client’s expectations based on contract terms, goals and objectives set forth by the client. Although this function focuses on digital media and content packaging strategy, development and execution, it is incumbent upon the Coordinator to liaise closely with our on-air broadcast partners (Univision/ESPN/FOX) to maximize our media activations.

The Director is a member of the Information Technology team who will be responsible for setting up and managing the Technology Project Management Office. This is a new role within the organization as we work to create efficiencies, maintain project standards and improve project visibility across the enterprise. The Director will work to establish methodologies and processes that work best for our organization. Along with being the visionary for the Technology PMO, this position will manage highly visible projects in a fast-paced environment that cross multiple business divisions.
The Business Intelligence position will help establish and maintain company-wide KPI measurements and associated processes to drive strategic decision making. The role will be critical in providing real time business insights to key stakeholders in order to analyze strategic initiatives and ongoing business operations. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with a team of department analysts and overseeing data validation and interpretation.

The Art Director is in charge of managing brand projects from ideation to completion, with a focus on strategy, project-management, art-direction and execution. Candidate should have strong communication and management skills and understanding of layout, typography and color theory. Some projects are print-based and require knowledge of print design and production. Notions of animation and motion design are also needed.
Position requires working with both internal and external clients, and there is frequent interaction with other functional departments (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Events, Social Responsibility).
The Art Director will manage one or several full-time designers: assignment of daily tasks, briefing, art-direction and assistance, reviews and growth. Candidate will also maintain relationships with vendors, freelancers and agencies, while curating and growing a portfolio of contacts.
