The Director, Partnership Marketing leads a team responsible for managing and executing all activities associated with assigned partnership accounts including the creation, ideation, development and execution of partner initiatives. The Director provides strategic oversight of partners across MLS/National teams using expert knowledge of industry relevant topics and understanding of the sales/marketing objectives of each client in the portfolio.

The Media Solutions team manages the commercialization strategy and execution of media sponsorship and advertising efforts for MLS & SUM properties. As a department, Media Solutions plays an important role in helping the larger MLS/SUM organization to articulate the value proposition of assets across owned, operated and distributed media channels to both internal and external stakeholders, ultimately driving value for the enterprise, official marketing partners and media partners.
Director, Media Solutions will work across functions and divisions to ensure the seamless development and execution of digital media sponsorship and advertising programs. From standard turn-key media executions across owned and operated channels to content development and branded entertainment positions crafted for our most noteworthy official marketing partners, the Director will be responsible for a wide range of activation. Campaign assets will run across a variety of digital platforms, including mobile, app, social media, OTT and emerging platforms. Although this function will focus mainly on MLS digital media sponsorships, it is incumbent upon this resource to partner with the sales marketing teams at our broadcast partner networks to support sponsored MLS brand positions where appropriate.

Major League Soccer (MLS) seeks a Vice President of Tax to provide proactive leadership of the organization’s tax function and to oversee tax planning and compliance for the league. Ideal candidates will be experienced professionals who have experience in a partnership tax environment and who have had extensive exposure to complex tax accounting. The Vice President of Tax must be broadly skilled in tax strategy, compliance, and accounting.
The Vice President of Tax will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies at the partnership level of MLS. In addition, it will liaise with its member clubs to ensure strategic alignment at the partner level. They will have an enterprise focus and will align tax practices with business processes and overall strategy. The Vice President will establish a business-based tax strategy that ensures optimal structuring, compliance, and results while also establishing priorities, motivating team members, and creating an atmosphere that willencourage a collaborative work environment.
The Digital Club Services (DCS) team supports MLS Clubs by providing the tools, training, best practices and expertise to help them leverage their content and digital systems to drive business results. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with the club digital teams by helping them maximize their digital engagement, coordinating network-wide initiatives and supporting their business goals.
The Financial Analyst will support the management of the MLS player budget and working closely with the Player Department on all financial matters related to players.
MLS is looking for a passionate addition to its engineering team with a knack for APIs and code. The Backend Engineer will create and/or improve server-side applications, APIs, and databases that help create powerful, functional, seamless fan experiences. The ability to build, maintain, and extend our features, APIs, and testing suite in a fast-paced environment are core capabilities.
