As a member of the Emerging Ventures team, you will assist in creating strategic partnerships, enabling new capabilities, and building value to grow the MLS fanbase, deliver new revenue streams and improve the quality of play on the field.
In this role you will work as a member of the Emerging Ventures team on a range of projects including managing day to day relationships with MLS’ sports data partners, supporting operations of the MLS Innovation Lab and working to analyze new business opportunities.
You will work closely with cross functional areas such as media, technology, finance, legal, marketing, sponsorship, youth development and competition to explore, debate and discuss new ideas and concepts. Your entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, and thought leadership will enable MLS to ideate, validate, and bring new concepts to life.
Major League Soccer’s Strategy and Business Intelligence group is tasked with supporting strategic decision making and resource allocation across the League – with a focus on driving fan growth, revenue capture, and operating efficiencies – by providing impactful data driven insights, analysis, and recommendations. We are seeking a Vice President who will bring a consultative approach to driving League strategy and planning, leading projects end-to-end and actively interfacing with senior leaders across the enterprise. This individual will bring collaborative energy, a desire to build, and thought leadership to the team.
The Events Team at Major League Soccer (“MLS”) plans, builds and aligns the enterprise on all MLS Events and key moments in the annual MLS calendar, including MLS SuperDraft, MLS is Back, MLS All-Star, Skills Challenge, Rivalry Week, MLS Decision Day, MLS Cup Playoffs, MLS Cup and more. The individual will develop and lead the strategic, long-term and integrated plans of our most visible moments as a League. The Sr. Director will also build Standard Operating Procedures for event production and will help to prepare all communications to executive team on MLS events. Integral in setting up the Events team for long term and sustainable success, this individual will partner closely with the SVP & Chief Events Officer and the Events team to build a best-in-class operating model for MLS Events that can be scaled to allow for department evolution, in line with League expansion and other growth opportunities.

The Facilities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager in maintaining the appearance of the office and its supplies and serving as a liaison to employees, building management, and other vendors. Position Summary
The Social Media Manager is responsible for helping position Major League Soccer as the most engaging and innovative sports brand in social media on TikTok. The Manager will have the exciting opportunity to work with the biggest emerging social media platform by overseeing the development of the MLS TikTok Club Creator Network: a breakthrough new program which will assign a designated TikTok content creator to different MLS clubs. This role will work directly with our partners at TikTok, MLS club social and digital leads, and with content creators.
The Senior Coordinator is responsible for the department’s logistic and administrative needs for both domestic and international events. This will include managing logistics, scheduling, and reporting duties for the Soccer Security Agent program.

Launched in 2022 by Major League Soccer, MLS NEXT Pro is a professional men’s soccer league in the United States and Canada that completes the pro player pathway. MLS NEXT Pro continues to grow the game through innovation and diversity, bringing professional soccer to new communities and creating global opportunities both on and off the field. MLS NEXT Pro enters its second season in 2023 with 27 teams, all affiliated with MLS clubs. Seven are new to MLS NEXT Pro in 2023: Atlanta United 2, Austin FC II, Crown Legacy FC (Charlotte FC), Huntsville City FC (Nashville SC), LA Galaxy II, Los Angeles Football Club 2 and New York Red Bulls II. The Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing for Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of all activities within assigned Partner Accounts focusing on emerging technology & platforms. As the key account person, the Senior Manager is responsible for delivering the highest level of client service while at the same time acting as an MLS/SUM consultant to ensure that effective programs are created and implemented across the enterprise. Candidate must have experience flourishing in rapidly evolving industries and environments and possess exceptional problem solving, analytical, and relationship building skills. The assigned accounts could also have exposure to Leagues Cup, Mexican National Team and Concacaf. The Senior Manager will research and analyze market data to determine and develop potential sponsorship opportunities as well as increase activation with current partners.
MLS Media Operations is looking for an innovative Manager, Media Assets to join the team. MLS Media Ops performs various functions around our media assets and workflows. You will be responsible for increasing the quality, efficiency, and efficacy of our asset management processes. This role will have a heavy focus on managing the matchday and historical media assets including their safe storage, organization, and delivery.
The Manager, Retail Development will work on the development and execution of retail programs with MLS Clubs and key partners. The Manager will be the day-to-day contact for select Clubs and Retailers to maximize opportunities for MLS fans to engage with their favorite Club via merchandise and marketing initiatives. The Manager, Retail Development will be responsible for all project and process management for ecommerce and omni-channel retail. The Director, Communications (Strategic & Digital Outreach) will increase the relevance and profile of Major League Soccer, its clubs, and players by strategically placing stories with digital and social content producers and influencers in the areas of sports, business, and lifestyle media. The individual, a strategic writer and editor, will help shape the public perception of MLS with key collaborators, especially digital and social content producers.

Major League Soccer is seeking a strong, entrepreneurial Digital Product leader to head its technology product management team. This person will complete strategic roadmaps driving Fan growth initiatives. With a comprehensive strategy and vision, this role will bring cohesion to the end-to-end Fan experience through digital product innovation, identifying growth opportunities and creating measurable value for our Fans and our League through three core responsibility areas: a) Fan data acquisition, b) product innovation, and c) personalization. This Product leader has a solid background in developing a deep understanding of consumers’ needs (Fans) and translating them into a useful roadmap of features and functionality that helps bring those needs to life.
In specific, this role owns product visions, roadmaps, and technical management of digital products. In this position, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing strategic consultation and coaching to business leaders to create and implement HR strategies that will foster organizational and people effectiveness as well as an inclusive culture, with a focus on supporting our Centralized Production Studio, On-Air Talent, and internal Apple Partnership teams. Major League Soccer’s Business Insights & Analytics is a centralized analytics function, supporting the league by aligning long and short-term strategy with data and providing impactful data driven insights, analysis, and recommendations.
The group is seeking a new Manager tasked with supporting MLS NEXT & NEXT Pro with insights and analytics that drive strategic decision making. The new hire will develop and oversee reporting and analytics on player and club performance, and work on large-scale projects such as, measuring the impact of rule changes, assess new market opportunities, and measure player development and estimating future value. The hire will report into the Director of Soccer Analytics & Data Science and is highly curious, motivated, and analytical, while also able to distill clarity from complexity, with an entrepreneurial desire to innovate.
In September 2021, Liga MX and Major Leagues Soccer (“MLS”) announced the expansion of Leagues Cup in 2023 to an annual 4-week tournament featuring all Liga MX and MLS clubs. Leagues Cup is an official Concacaf competition, and the top three finishers receive spots in the Concacaf Champions League with the winner advancing directly to the round of 16. Leagues Cup is the first and only officially sanctioned multi-country club competition in the world which represents an extraordinary opportunity for Liga MX and MLS to build one of the most unique and exciting club tournaments in the world within the Concacaf ecosystem, while accelerating the growth of soccer in the United States.
We’re looking for a Vice President to lead the brand strategy and marketing planning and operations for Leagues Cup to build the Leagues Cup brand, drive awareness, and create meaningful action and data capture. This includes responsibility for Leagues Cup marketing mix, campaign performance, management of paid media (digital/social and traditional) promotional, media distribution, earned and placement (owned and operated assets, as well as partner assets).
The role ensures smart and timely campaign development and delivery across multiple brand touchpoints. The strategy will utilize the Tournament’s unique positioning and ensure it is communicated effectively to a variety of crucial audiences. The main goal is to excite and educate the market, drive data capture, sell tickets, and drive fans to the sport and competition.
The MLS Consumer Products team drives fan engagement and revenue through licensed products sales and marketing while supporting on-field equipment needs. We are seeking a Manager, Marketing Operations to develop and drive cross-functional programs with internal and external partners amplifying department efforts across Events, Special Programs and product releases. The candidate will work closely with key team members within Consumer Products while partnering with other departments on integration opportunities across Events, Community Relations, Partnership Marketing and Brand Marketing. This highly collaborative role will also work with MLS Clubs to understand and aid in the amplification of Club-led initiatives involving opportunities to incorporate consumer products to drive messaging, fan engagement and revenue.
The Director will be responsible for implementing and managing the League’s Security Compliance Program related to the standards and policies in the MLS Security Manual. The position will manage a third-party delivery, prioritize venues based on need, communicate audit results to the clubs/ venues, and administer the Corrective Action Plan process.
The audits will be ongoing with clubs that fall below a specific standard being reaudited that same season. The position will work closely with venue Security Directors and Club General Counsels. The Director will work closely with the Senior Manager of Domestic to ensure information sharing and alignment.
The Director will provide an annual assessment of the Security Compliance Program to identify areas for improvement in policy and processes.
