The Coordinator, Partnership Marketing for Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day execution of all activities within assigned Partner Accounts. As an integral member of the account team, the Coordinator is responsible for delivering the highest level of client service while at the same time acting as an MLS/SUM consultant to ensure that effective programs are created and implemented across the enterprise. The assigned accounts could also have exposure to other properties such as Leagues Cup, Mexican National Team and Concacaf.

The league currently has 29 active clubs and San Diego was recently announced as the 30th club to join.
The growth of our business and fan base happens at both national and local levels. To drive collaboration, best practices, innovation, solutions and league-wide growth, Major League Soccer is building a Club Performance Department. Based in New York, the group will serve as an in-house advisory and resource, working in close partnership with club leadership in areas of business operations, including ticketing, sponsorship, media, content, marketing, business intelligence and fan development.
Position Summary
The MLS Consumer Products, department is seeking a Sr. Director of Licensing Products. The MLS Consumer Products team is responsible for the licensing business, e-commerce, and retailer relationships, supporting on-field equipment needs for MLS clubs and the relationship with Electronic Arts. Video gaming and emerging digital products related to AR, VR, Blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) represent key growth opportunities for the league.
The candidate will work closely with the VP of Licensing, Consumer Products in the highly collaborative role including strategic planning, business development and execution of the League’s licensees of consumer products strategy. As part of these responsibilities, the Sr. Director will drive the identification, due diligence, execution, and management license deals that meet the strategic, commercial and fan engagement objectives. The Sr. Director will be responsible for establishing best practices, structuring deal terms, and developing new partnerships to ensure MLS in set for growth as we evolve heading to the 2026 World Cup. The ideal candidate will have significant experience evaluating category opportunities, identifying soft and hard goods licensees, deep understanding of deal terms, ability to drive the deal process including negotiating contracts, and managing partners post execution. This is an exciting opportunity to support one of MLS’s key business units and work with stakeholders, partners, and clubs across the league.
The Sr. Director is responsible for managing aspects of licensing relationships including communicating consumer product strategy, directing product development process, and supporting retail placement and promotions in conjunction with SUM CP’s Retail Development Team. The Sr. Director will manage our Fanatics relationship, including sub-licensees and Fanatics Brands.
Department Summary
The Properties and Events department manages Soccer United Marketing (“SUM”) Property partnerships (U.S. Soccer Federation (“USSF”), Federacion Mexicana de Futbol, CONCACAF, Liga MX, eMLS, and others). It oversees the development, planning, and execution of Major League Soccer (“MLS”) and SUM platforms in North America, including marquee events like MLS All-Star, CONCACAF Gold Cup, MLS Cup, the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour, MLS Heineken Rivalry Week, eMLS Cup, and Liga MX programming. The group also spearheads organization-wide initiatives, including hospitality/B2B programming, press/media events, department/executive meetings, competition events and the development of new platforms / partnerships for the enterprise. The Events department also supports cross-departmental initiatives including press announcements, department/executive meetings, competition events and strategy projects.
Position Summary
The manager position will manage the execution of marketing strategies for the promotions of SUM marquee events and activities including the Mexican National Team US Tour, Concacaf Nations League and Gold Cup, and other international friendlies as assigned. This role will act as a key stakeholder in the marketing initiatives to maximize event revenue opportunities.
Major League Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial Digital Product Director to drive Fan growth through prospect nurturing, acquisition and retention experiences. This person will collaborate with leadership and the cross functional team to develop vision, short and long-term growth strategies, manage roadmaps and implement best in class processes to deliver impactful web solutions.
The Director will identify growth opportunities and create measurable value for our Fans and our League through three core areas: a) Fan data acquisition, b) product innovation, and c) personalization.
The Director will work closely with the VP and leadership team to promote a culture anchored in data, consumer insights, experimentation and validation. The person in this role will mentor and coach junior product managers in product craft, and position the team to innovate and build inspirational experiences for our Fans.

The Director will continuously evolve digital product strategy accounting for industry trends, emerging solutions, new insights, and changing Fan and League needs.
The Director, Leagues Cup Operations leads, in part, all aspects of match day operations across the newly formed tournament including but not limited to match operations, stadium operations and match presentation.
The Senior Director, Player Engagement will manage and have direct oversight of soccer development for front office and technical positions, continuing education initiatives for players (on & off field), player international affairs, and player care programs. This individual will create and deliver best-in-class programs and leverage resources for our players throughout all stages of their career.
The Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is responsible for spearheading our DE&I maturity journey across the enterprise. Working closely with the Chief Engagement and Advancement Officer, League and Club stakeholders, and MLS/SUM partners, this individual will help build and implement a new DEI maturity model for MLS/SUM and its clubs, as well as progress the League’s programs to increase inclusion and representation throughout the MLS ecosystem. This senior level leader will drive strategy, through innovation, and help to create an environment that values and embraces differences while promoting equitable opportunities within the League and across our Clubs.
The Director, Player Relations & Sporting Strategy will provide critical support and strategic guidance to the EVP, Player Relations & Sporting Strategy. In partnership with the EVP, they will develop the long-term strategic vision for league player investment strategies and Sporting Strategy.
Major League Soccer is searching for an experienced professional to help build and scale our Digital Asset Management platform, acting as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of our DAM. They must have outstanding communication skills and a keen ability to convey complex technical ideas in easily understood terms to business partners. The Director, Player Relations (Compliance) will oversee Player Relations compliance matters, including maintenance and enforcement of league rules, documentation and communication, and management of investigations. They will be focused on enhancing and managing our risk and compliance programs through staying abreast of current regulations, proactively identifying gaps in existing policy frameworks, and collaborating across relevant stakeholders.
The Manager, Player Relations will serve two department needs:
- Primarily support MLS Clubs in building and managing their respective rosters and to ensure compliance with League Rules.
- Secondarily support the department in general administrative matters (registration, trades, discovery, payments).
The Information Technology Service Desk Specialist is the first point of contact to respond, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a Windows and Mac environment. The Service Desk supports internal staff and external customers efficiently and quickly over the phone, in person, and through remote connectivity software. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to high-quality customer service and a solid work ethic.

This position will provide administrative support to the MLS medical team, primarily assisting the Senior Manager with League medical initiatives, and other tasks assigned by the Senior Director, Medical Administration and Senior Vice President, Competition and Medical Administration. Position Summary
The Manager, Social Media is responsible for helping position Major League Soccer as the most engaging and innovative sports brand in social media. This position will help produce content with MLS photo, video, and editorial teams, and decide how to distribute on @MLS social media channels to help achieve our objectives. This role will help manage the process in which we create and publish content during the week and on matchdays. This role will be key in helping grow the MLS fan base — from the MLS club level to the league level — and supporting all elements of the MLS ecosystem, including our partnership with Apple TV.
The Manager, Events will support the Events team with the planning, project management and production of all MLS events, including MLS All-Star, MLS Cup, Heineken Rivalry Week.
The role will also support the team by leading various media events (e.g., expansion market announcements, press conferences) and community / pro-social events hosted by MLS WORKS and MLS’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion group.

Launched in 2022 by Major League Soccer, MLS NEXT Pro is a professional men’s soccer league in the United States and Canada that completes the pro player pathway. MLS NEXT Pro continues to grow the game through innovation and diversity, bringing professional soccer to new communities and creating global opportunities both on and off the field. MLS NEXT Pro enters its second season in 2023 with 27 teams, all affiliated with MLS clubs. Position Summary
The Sr. Staff Accountant maintains financial reports, records, and general ledgers. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing budgets and performing general bookkeeping.
As a member of the Emerging Ventures team, you will assist in creating strategic partnerships, enabling new capabilities, and building value to grow the MLS fanbase, deliver new revenue streams and improve the quality of play on the field.
In this role you will work as a member of the Emerging Ventures team on a range of projects including managing day to day relationships with MLS’ sports data partners, supporting operations of the MLS Innovation Lab and working to analyze new business opportunities.

Position Summary
The Social Media Manager is responsible for helping position Major League Soccer as the most engaging and innovative sports brand in social media on TikTok. The Manager will have the exciting opportunity to work with the biggest emerging social media platform by overseeing MLS’ Creator Network, including the development of the MLS TikTok Club Creator Network: a breakthrough new program which will assign a designated TikTok content creator to different MLS clubs. This role will work directly with our partners at TikTok, MLS club social and digital leads, and with content creators.
